About
Serious about ideas.
Gentle with people.
Yuda Foo is a Christian apologetics speaker with a Master of Arts in Christian Apologetics from Biola University. He lives in Singapore and teaches at churches, conferences, camps, and campuses. He also builds tools for people who are still deciding what they think.
I came to apologetics through my own questions. A faith that fell apart under hard questions didn’t seem worth much, so I went looking to see whether the Christian story could carry the weight. It could. That’s more or less how the work started.
I finished a Master of Arts in Christian Apologetics through Talbot School of Theology at Biola University, studying by distance from Singapore. The coursework covered the resurrection, the problem of evil, ethics and naturalism, science and faith, intelligent design, and the reliability of Scripture. All of it sat on top of years of ordinary church ministry, which is what keeps it practical. The question in front of you always belongs to a particular person.
Most of it happens in unremarkable rooms: a youth camp, a young-adult gathering, a church working through hard objections over six weeks, a conference on everyday outreach. I care much less about winning an argument than about whether someone leaves able to think further than they could before. Conversion is the work of the Holy Spirit, not the prize for a clever syllogism.
More recently I built Vital Questions, a guided conversation for working through the big questions with actual evidence, and no pretending where the evidence thins out. Shorter answers to common questions live on my YouTube channel.
